Sewing Quest #2 - Cross stitch

If you have access to a cross stitch kit - grab it!  Try a simple one to begin with, the larger the stitches and the smaller the design the easier for younger children.  Plan the kit to match the attention of the child.

If you do not have a cross stitch kit handy, you can make a card and cross stitch (with embroidery thread) onto graph paper.  Feel free to draw your design onto the graph paper first!
